New Year, New Colours 2023

A new year means new colour trends. The Spring season is looking bright and beautiful with a hue for everyone!

Colour trends are informed by designers on the runways, which happen six months prior to the season ahead. Whilst most trends are influenced by the catwalk colour specialist businesses such as Pantone and Dulux also have an impact.

Last year we saw a lot of dopamine dressing with Barbiecore pink and vivid greens- which we absolutely loved! The runways for spring 2023 showed us fashion's favourite colour – black, but also a lot of colour, and it is definitely a colour palette worth getting excited for!

Oceanic Blues

Blue is back this season. Coastal-inspired tones are particularly popular with lighter shades such as “sky blues” dominating the hue. Experts say that the oceanic-inspired blues symbolises tranquillity and freshness.

Pink

Barbie pink was one of the big colour trends last year, however this year pink is going paler and more subdued. A soft feminine pink is associated with love and self-care all of which are needed in the current climate. Pastels always look chic with other pastels, but a pretty pink is also very versatile and compliments well with neutrals such as beige, stone, and ivory.

Creige

Ever heard of creige? Well, it is a mix of cream and beige, a new warm neutral set to dominate the fashion world. Creige looks chic and sophisticated and symbolises wellness and comfort. The new neutral mix looks expensive and elegant when paired with other pale colours and neutrals such as cream and whites.

With all this in mind we are very excited to be working with these colour palettes this year and can’t wait to realise our collection showcasing a mixture of fresh and
timeless hues!
